Founded in 2002 by New York Family, the Blackboard Awards accomplish two worthy goals: helping New York City parents make informed choices about their children’s education, and honoring and celebrating schools, principals and teachers of excellence.

The awards are broken out into two annual events with one focused on schools and principals and the other on schools and teachers. The event is a must attend for those in the New York City public, private and parochial school systems.
