Mortgage Loan Officer and Real Estate Broker
Mortgage Bank Family First Funding and Reliable Realty

Lauren Cornea has been serving as a Mortgage Loan Officer for the Mortgage Bank Family First Funding, a Real Estate Broker for her own firm Reliable Realty and just recently, Cornea published a website geared towards helping For Sale By Owners, fsbo-pro.com.

During COVID, interest rates dropped to historic lows making Cornea the go-to woman for refinancing and purchasing. All of her clients can attribute saving thousands of dollars to her insurmountable ability to structure deals in her clients’ favor. No challenge is too big and no deal is too small for her and she treats all of her clients equally and fairly.

This mindset allowed Cornea’s career to flourish to where she has been written up in multiple publications. These include, The Real Deal, The New York Times, The Daily News, The Queens Gazette, Give Me Astoria and The Queens Courier’s “Star of Queens”.

Some of Cornea’s notable projects are the Steinway Mansion and the Ferrigno Home, both having restrictive landmark status. Cornea also procured the sale of the famous DeRose Pharmacy for a record-breaking price. Most recently, she sold an entire city block in Long Island City for $80 million-dollars with a $13 million-dollar mortgage, which she put together, as part of the transaction. This sale is the highest recorded private sale in Queens’ history.

Cornea also studied at the National Academy of Sports Medicine to receive her Certification as a Personal Trainer specializing in myofascial release and recovery. Health is her hobby and passion. In her spare time, she loves being active with her
two children and longtime boyfriend.
