Raquel Dispenziere

Gabriel Loren The Salon

Owner

Raquel Dispenziere started her professional career in 2004 following her childhood passion for helping women to look and feel good about themselves. She started styling her sisters’ hair as a child. After being gifted with a “real” salon chair in her teen years, it was not uncommon to have a handful of friends waiting in her family home for their turn to sit in her chair. By the age of 16, Dispenziere began receiving requests to style brides on their wedding day.

As a young single mother of a medically disabled child, Dispenziere has become an expert at having a healthy work-life balance and knows first-hand the effort it takes for women to achieve their professional career goals fully. Her professional career began in the salon and styling for special events until an opportunity to work for Paul Mitchell the School presented itself.

Dispenziere’s gifts were instantly recognized while instructing at Paul Mitchell the School, and she was quickly promoted to the Operations Leader. When the school created one of the first-ever salon management AA programs, Dispenziere was selected to design and write the curriculum, teaching future leaders.

Dispenziere’s creative and tenacious spirit led her to open Gabriel Loren The Salon in 2014 to solve the increasing challenges she faced with her rigid work schedule making it difficult to meet her son’s medical and academic needs. Becoming her boss provided the needed flexibility in her schedule so much so that she became a foster parent and help others succeed professionally and personally.
