Jane Scher has always been a creative person. Her fascination with art and music led her to a passionate interest in aesthetic procedures. For all of her adult life, Scher has worked in plastic surgery, managing to stay abreast of all the latest techniques by attending as many educational events as possible.

Scher is well-known in the field both because of the professional positions she has held and continues to hold and because of her memberships in various prestigious organizations. In addition to being a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses (ASPSN) for over 25 years, she has worked at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH), probably the most well-known plastic surgery hospital in the country. Scher has worked alongside some of the most famous aesthetic doctors globally, but she has also helped many of them build their practices. Through her accomplished consulting firm Scher has worked with renowned surgeons in hospitals and their private offices.

Scher’s eagerness to learn state-of-the-art aesthetic techniques is matched by her desire to disseminate what she discovers through teaching other professionals.  At MEETH, she has lectured operation room nurses on proper plastic surgery techniques regarding patient safety, and at Metropolitan Vein Center, she has instructed physician assistants (PAs) on injection techniques. She has also trained new staff members on injectables.
