Dr. Dawn Niles is a born educator who fell in love with post-secondary education. She has a long career in teaching and mentoring students. This skill set enabled her to lead job banks and workforce development programs that have provided career guidance and job placement for thousands of individuals. This experience and her passion for bridging the gap between post-school studies and the workforce led her to pursue doctoral studies focused on apprenticeship retention rates among diverse racial groups, women, veterans, and disabled people. Her research identified the need for connecting and supporting those seeking work-based learning experiences.  In response, she created Apprenticeship Resource Management (A.R.M.). An apprenticeship and vocational app, wh made the perfect trifecta needed for successful student placement, industry engagement, and program administration. Dr. Niles sees a future where A.R.M will be the instrument that will effortlessly assist many persons in fulfilling their career and financial vision.

 

While developing her educational career, Dr. Niles has also built a substantial financial portfolio to assist persons in ensuring a financially secure future. Recently being commissioned to join New York Life to become a managing partner, she focuses on serving Fortune 500 companies and minorities who need financial guidance and planning.

 

Dr. Niles’ dedication to assisting persons to reach their career and financial goals earned her an Honor At the 2019 Dress for Success Hudson County 20th Anniversary Celebration of Community Service. She also received the Jersey City’s Women of Action award in 2011.
