Amy E. Loeb, EdD, MBA, RN-BC, NE-BC, is Executive Director of Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, where she is responsible for all strategic initiatives and operations for the medical center and its community-based offices and service lines. A part of Northwell Health, Peconic Bay Medical Center is Eastern Suffolk County’s largest medical center and serves as the Eastern Hub of the Northwell system, which is the largest healthcare system in New York State and one of the largest in the world.

Dr. Loeb previously served as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Nursing Officer at Peconic Bay Medical Center. Prior to coming to Peconic Bay Medical Center in 2015, Dr. Loeb served as Vice President for Allied Health at Northwell’s Huntington Hospital where she oversaw quality of care, patient experience, caregiver engagement, and operational and financial performance of the Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Case Management departments.

Dr. Loeb’s first experience at Peconic Bay Medical Center was as a volunteer while she was a nursing student at Suffolk County Community College in 2001. Since joining the Northwell system as a registered nurse at Huntington Hospital in 2004, Dr. Loeb has assumed progressively senior leadership roles and been mentored by some of the finest nursing and hospital leaders in New York. She has continuously enhanced her skills and knowledge, earning BSN and MBA degrees at St. Joseph’s College, and an Ed.D. from Columbia University’s Teachers College. She has also earned certifications as a Nurse Executive and Gerontology Nurse.
