Charles Evdos is a veteran executive and entrepreneur with over 4 decades of experience in fundraising, major gifts, estate-planning, finance, operations and business.
Charles began his working career as a “Copy Boy” at the New York Daily News. He rose up the ranks at this iconic daily paper, to become an editorial assistant and TV/radio reporter, before concluding his storied 12-year career in journalism, as a business manager.
Charles always had a passion for helping people and decided to leave journalism behind and join the not-for-profit sector. He has worked at Long Island Head Start as their Deputy Executive Director, APPLE, Inc. as the Chief Operating Officer and CFO and then as the Director of Development for United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, a position he held for over 13 years before joining Rise Life Services (an Aid To The Developmentally Disabled company), as its Executive Director.
