Judy Markowitz a first-generation American, born and raised in Queens by her Hungarian Holocaust Survivors. As an apartment girl growing up in Lefrak City, later moving to Flushing, then Connecticut, and back to Flushing again at the age of 22, She never lived in a house, or even visited one until she started selling homes in 1987. She spent her first five years in real estate reading, learning, and trying every creative sales idea, or new marketing strategy that she could find, with just one belief in mind: Do what others won’t, and you will achieve what others can’t.
Her goal was always to have a business worth having and to be world famous in a small town. By 1993, she had gained a name for herself as the Energized Realtor, and after 10 years as an agent ,in 1997 she got married, was expecting a baby, and opened her own boutique company. Her vision remains the same today as it was then, to foster a positive, competitive yet fun environment and be part of a small but mighty local business. She continues to, train and mentor new and experienced agents at her firm to always focus on working toward exceeding client’s expectations of a realtor! She is proud and grateful to be recognized by her community for the work she does and after our community’s extraordinary resilience during the past year, JUDY LOVES QUEENS NOW more than ever!
