Kimberly D. Hardy, Esq. is the Senior Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Compliance at McKissack & McKissack, the oldest minority/women-owned professional design and construction firm in the United States. She is an award-winning, nationally recognized subject-matter authority in the field of diversity and inclusion, having worked and lectured on diversity and inclusion issues impacting businesses and infrastructure development.

 

McKissack & McKissack is a lead program management consultant for The New Terminal One development project at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), the world’s premier gateway to New York and the United States. Hardy is responsible for ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion remain business-critical priorities for the project. Hardy has committed The New Terminal One to implement innovative solutions to deliver a project that meets or exceeds the objectives for minority and women business enterprises (M/WBE). The project also seeks to serve local business enterprises (LBE), the workforce, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO). Working in collaboration with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) and local stakeholders, The New Terminal One prioritizes capacity building and meaningful community engagement.

 

Hardy is well regarded for her inspirational and engaging leadership. She developed extensive knowledge in diversity and inclusion during all construction stages by working with governmental entities at federal, state, and local levels, developers, contractors, financial institutions, and community groups to improve their diversity and inclusion metrics. Her career includes executive positions in government and the private sector, providing her with a unique understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusion.
