Marilyn Quinn Anderson joined Ronald Fatoullah & Associates in 2020 as a member of the Estate Administration Department. She has an extensive background in estate administration, planning, litigation, and residential real estate transactions.

Anderson has focused her legal career on the specialties of Trusts & Estates and Residential Real Estate. Her experience in Trusts & Estates includes providing advice to individuals regarding estate planning and the importance of advance directives; assisting executors and administrators by guiding them through a complex process during an emotionally challenging time, and representing both fiduciaries and beneficiaries of estates in various contested matters before the Surrogate’s Court.

Anderson received her Bachelor’s in Music from Adelphi University. She was a student in the Honors College, and her Master’s in Music Education from Cuny Queens College before attending St. John’s University School of Law on the St. Thomas More Scholarship (full tuition).

While attending law school, Anderson had the honor of serving as a legal intern for the Hon. Peter J. Kelly, Surrogate, Queens County. Anderson graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s but not before obtaining the academic distinctions of Dean’s List for all six semesters, Dean’s Award for Excellence in Estate Administration, and Dean’s Award for Excellence in Business Organizations.

Anderson is a member of the Trusts & Estates and Real Property sections of the New York State Bar Association; a member of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Nassau County Bar Association; and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
