Michael Dubb is founder and chief executive officer of The Beechwood Organization, New York’s largest developer of family and multifamily attached housing.

Since 1985, Beechwood developed over 60 communities, built over 7500 homes, a luxury apartment building and retail centers.

Beechwood was ranked 49th of the 2019 Top 400 Housing Giants by Professional Builder Magazine, named a 2018 Top 250 builder by NAHB and awarded LIBN’s 2019 Real Estate Lifetime Achievement Award.

Born and raised on Long Island, Dubb is active in community and professional organizations.

A leading New York thoroughbred owner, Dubb is a board director of the NYRA.

In 2002, Dubb, on behalf of the Belmont Child Care Association, spearheaded the construction of Anna House, a 7500-square-foot day care center for the children of Belmont Racetrack’s backstretch workers. This innovative project, providing daily education and care for more than 70 children each day, was the first of its kind and set a standard for other racetracks.

Dubb is a director and former president of the Long Island Builders Institute, a 2016 inductee of its Hall of Fame and a former board member of the Long Island Housing Partnership.

In 2018 and 2019, Long Island Press selected Dubb for its Power List. The Tilles Center honored Dubb and his son, Steven in 2018. Dubb has also been honored by The American Cancer Society, American Jewish Committee, CAPTAIN Youth and Family Services, Family Service League, Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation, Networking Magazine and Mid-Island, Sid Jacobson and Suffolk YJCCs.
