Rita Acquafredda is President, Global Lab Business of Zahn Dental, the lab division of Henry Schein, Inc. Rita oversees all aspects of the lab division including operations, sales, marketing, merchandising, milling, technical services, talent acquisition and management, supplier relations, budgeting, and strategic planning.

With more than 40 years of experience in the Dental Laboratory business, Rita began her career in a small dental lab supply business as a bookkeeper, and today runs the largest dental laboratory supply company in the world. She is a founding member of Women in Dental Technology, which was rebranded Women in Dentistry (WID) in 2020, has served on the Board of the National Association of Dental Labs (NADL), and named to Dental Product Report’s Top 25 Women in Dentistry and Top Women in Dental Labs, as well as named one of Long Island’s Top 50 Women in Business.

Rita is an avid supporter of Henry Schein’s philanthropic initiatives designed to engage Team Schein Members in creative ways to improve their communities. For more than 14 years, she has annually sponsored three to five children through Henry Schein’s Back to School and Holiday Cheer programs. Working in the health care sector, Rita is a major contributor to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and St. Jude’s Hospital. She strongly believes that through her financial support, she is helping the organization to fund lifesaving research, advocate for better health, improve patient care, and reach at-risk populations.
