Steven G. Santino is a Senior Vice President, Senior Growth Manager at People’s United Bank, where he is responsible for leading a 100+ branch network and a team of over 500 employees serving Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Kings, Richmond, New York, Bronx, Westchester, and Rockland counties in New York.
He joined People’s United Bank in 1988 and has advanced through positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently he led integration efforts for two strategic acquisitions by People’s United Bank, including 27 Suffolk County National Bank branches after being acquired in in 2017, and before that a network of 57 Citizen’s Bank branches in 2012.
Active in the community, he has most recently served on the board of directors of numerous benevolent and municipal boards.
Santino received his bachelor’s degree in communications from the Southern Connecticut State University, his master’s degree in industrial relations and a graduate certificate in Human Resources from the University of New Haven. He also graduated from the National School of Banking with honors.
