Founded in 1908, the Ridgewood Times and Times Newsweekly serves as the area’s premiere source of news, events and information, covering various community affairs and events in Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village, Bushwick and Woodhaven. The papers have marked the time as the community grew out of rural roots into an urban oasis that more than 300,000 people call home.

Throughout its 107 years, the papers have advocated for countless community issues, working together with local civic groups toward receiving infrastructure improvements, better public safety protection, quality schools and a high standard of living. To meet their needs, Schneps Communications introduced to the papers a new, all-color format and an expanded social media presence. The Ridgewood Times and Times Newsweekly are also a part of, providing readers with up-to-the-minute content and daily updates.
