Thuyen has been creating natural-based products since age ten. As a child, he watched his beautiful mother apply textured mixtures of Asian herbs, powders, and oils to her near-perfect skin. Pulling from his roots, extensive training in the healing arts, and an inherent sense of balance, he began to adjust and enhance her time-honored recipes, using practical, pure ingredients.

Thuyen draws on 22 years of expertise and dedication, offering a healthier, effective alternative to aging well and skin health. In 2006, Nguyen was named Creative Director/Developer of the Shibui Spa for Robert De Niro’s lauded Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca. In summer 2013, Nguyen opened his first exclusive, appointment-only luxury spa in the Hamptons. He developed a cultish, word-of-mouth following customizing products and treatments for some of the world’s most beautiful faces.

Thuyen’s techniques combine contemporary science with traditional practices with the magic of alchemy, intuitive knowledge of transforming essential raw ingredients into something unique and complex formulation.
